Megiddo (S. Timotheus) is a music producer, audio engineer and MC best known for his classic Boom Bap Hip-Hop productions for Romanian artists like Nimeni Altu', Mr. Levy, world famous producer Anno Domini and his former group, In Extremis, but he also released a Trip-Hop EP (Elements EP) and produced instrumentals ranging from R&B, Boom Bap Hip-Hop, Modern Hip-Hop to Reggae, Funk, Hip-Hop - Rock crossover and more.

From a very young age, Megiddo had a very strong love for music, so it was only a matter of time until he made his attempt to create music. After he was first introduced to Hip-Hop through artists like 2Pac, Xzibit, Eminem and DMX, he knew that Hip-Hop was his thing so he started writing, rapping, recording, making beats and later he learned how to mix his tracks.

In 2009 he started working on his first production album with some lesser-known emcees like romaN from the Republic of Moldova, In Extremis (Swift and esra) and Clue from Romania and Ryno from the USA and some more. The album, named "Heart, Beats, Soul" was released in June, 2010 and received positive feedback from the Romanian underground Hip-Hop scene.

During that time, he also collaborated with the world famous producer Anno Domini on 4 beats.

While working on the album, Megiddo teamed up with Swift and esra and became part of In Extremis. They soon started working on an EP, Extreme, which was released less than a week after "Heart, Beats, Soul". The album had 6 of 8 tracks produced by Megiddo. Once again, the EP received positive feedback. In 2011, In Extremis teamed up with The Bridge Committee, Clue, Havana and later Qishta and formed SickSound Crew. Megiddo continued producing for In Extremis and SickSound until he left both in July 2012. SickSound released an album since, featuring two tracks produced by Megiddo, while In Extremis are yet to release their second album. He also produced two tracks and mixed another two for Swift's solo album, released at the end of 2012.

At the end of 2011, Megiddo teamed up with guitarist Cristian Juravle and worked together on a few projects.

In July, 2012, Megiddo released his first fully instrumental album, HeartBEATS From The Soul. The album, with a characteristic Golden Era vibe, contained beats from "Heart, Beats, Soul" plus 2 new beats, one in collaboration with ILLusionist. At the beginning of 2013, he remixed Adele's Someone Like You, which gained popularity throughout the YouTube community.

Apart from producing for various lesser-known artists like Fu & Julia Black, Megiddo briefly collaborated with Cristyz, an up-coming Romanian artist, which spawned two bigger collaborations, with Mr. Levy, a Romanian reggae artist, and Nimeni Altu', a Romanian underground Hip-Hop pioneer (also one of Megiddo's favorite Romanian emcees).

In 21 December 2012, Megiddo released, along with Cristian J., a Trip-Hop/Chillout EP, named Elements EP.

Since then, he released a few internet singles, like Heartflow (a Trip-Hop instrumental) and Inutil (which marks his return to rapping).

Mixing&Mastering

Service Overview

Megiddo can provide you with quality mixes characterized by clarity, balance and good dynamics at very affordable rates, whatever your project would be: an Internet single, a full album, a mixtape and so on.
As he won't be working with you in person, it's important to mention how'd you like your song(s) to sound like and include any ideas you want included in your mix, i.e. "I want a long reverb on those vocals", "I want a flanger on that guitar" etc.
If you have a rough mix, send it along too and say what you like and what you don't. Sending a reference song is also very useful.
Remember that MIXING CANNOT COMPENSATE FOR A BAD RECORDING so make sure you have a decent recording before considering Mixing & Mastering services.
Also, you must follow these GUIDELINES to avoid extra charges and/or a longer turnaround time (more than a week).

Custom Instrumentals

Service Overview

A custom instrumental is an instrumental made exclusively for the buyer, according to his requests.

If you would like to have an instrumental made exclusively by your specification, have a song you want sampled or just want Megiddo to add something to/alter an already made instrumental, use the Contact form to let him know.

You should include any kind of information that could help the process, for example if you want a certain effect on something, a certain instrument used and so on. Also, giving examples of how you'd like it to sound like is a good idea.

In case you don't like the final product, you don't have to pay anything and the instrumental will be added to the store.

Leasing Rights

-You will receive MP3 at 320kbps and WAV files of the untagged beat
-You may use the beat for ONE commercial recording or broadcast.
-This recording can then be distributed at your price for up to 2,000 copies.
-You may also use the beat for non-profit promotional use or demos.
-You have full rights to record and mix the beat in any shape, way or form (except reselling the beat).
-YOU MUST GIVE FULL CREDIT TO Megiddo Productions on all commercial recordings.
-Upon purchasing leasing rights, Megiddo Production still owns the beat(s) and is able to resell the beat(s) to any other party until exclusive rights have been purchased.

Exclusive Rights

-You'll receive an archive containing the instrumental tracks (WAV at 44.1 KHz, 24 bit), the mixdown and a digital contract.
-Exclusive rights grant you unlimited commercial recordings and broadcasts.
-You have full rights to record and mix the beat in any shape, way or form (except reselling the beat).
-The original seller may no longer lease or sell the beat, except for prior leasing rights holders and his/her own promotional page (no downloads there).
-YOU MUST GIVE FULL CREDIT TO Megiddo Productions on all commercial recordings.

What you need to do:

It is your responsibility to ensure the multi-tracks provided are ready for mixing. Please do not assume any tuning or timing issues will be automatically resolved. Large amounts of tuning and editing will be charged for and will delay turnaround time. It is in your best interest to do any tuning and editing in your time, so I can focus on mixing the song.
I accept WAV or AIFF files at 44.1, 48, 88.2 and 96kHz; 16 or 24 bit, Cubase 5 and Pro Tools 8 projects (NO EFFECTS ON TRACKS!).
Please supply mono or stereo files, clearly named and without audio clipping, bounced from the start point of your song (bar 1 beat 1 or start time code). All files must be of the same duration, sample rate and bit depth. The files must be supplied dry, without reverb or effects. If you want a specific effect on a track, write it down.
In addition to as much written information as possible, you’re welcome to provide a rough mix and a commercially released reference song. A commercial song is only a guide and results are completely dependent on the quality and style of the multi-track provided.

What can you expect:

The final mix master WAV at 44.1 KHz/24 bit and MP3 at 320 kbps and WAV acapella and/or instrumental on request.
The turnaround time is within 7 days max (starting from the time of the payment). In exceptional cases, it might take longer. Any delay will be notified.
